LIFE Homes is a faith based organisation that seeks to bring light, love and hope to individuals and communities. Our homes create a boutique flatting lifestyle and home for adults with an intellectual disability, providing 24/7 care.
We have a reputation for providing our active residents with support in an understanding, individual and caring way, that mirrors family life. We also provide residents with programmes, vocational opportunities and community engagement. Our desire is that LIFE Homes becomes a place where residents proudly, truly, call HOME.

Currently, we have 7 homes in Orewa, Warkworth and Snells Beach, and an exciting new development in Kamo, Whangārei, extending our vision to create a vibrant community for young adults.
LIFE Homes welcomes the interest of all those that have an intellectual disability, ages between 18-65, as required by the ministry.
We understand that choosing permanent housing for your family member is a huge decision for the whānau. Our hope is that in this process, you are able to make an informed, personal decision. We encourage and welcome visits to our homes, before referral processes are engaged.

Our staff are passionate about bringing the best care to our residents and often refer to their role not as a job, but a passion, as each resident is treated as a member of the LIFE Homes family.

Our Team
Do you have a skill or activity that you would like to share with our residents? We are looking for individuals or groups that can facilitate new and exciting extracurricular activities as a one off or ongoing basis for our homes.
